Dave Edwards

Dave Edwards is a highly respected selector and collector of vintage vinyl from the 1950s, 1960s and beyond. He has been DJing since 1985 and was one of the first guest DJs to play at Right On! back in 2002. His collection of rare records covers blues, soul, ska, rocksteady, reggae and boogaloo.

For many years Dave was a resident DJ at London's legendary 100 Club, supporting artists such as Desmond Dekker, James Hunter, The Pretty Things, Nine Below Zero, The Gene Drayton Unit, Dave Keech and Gary Baldwin.

Over the years, Dave has also co-promoted a number of club nights in London such as Shake & Fingerpop and The Reggae Shack. He currently runs a night in Islington called The Sidewinder.

Still greatly in demand as a guest DJ, Dave has played all over the UK as well as France, Belgium, Spain, Italy and Cyprus. He is a regular at the Rhythm Festival and Berwick R&B Weekend, and has played exclusive sets for Fred Perry including the launch of their Peter Blake pop art range.
