Welcome to the club

Picture this: the lights are low, drinks stay off the floor, phones are out of sight. World-class DJs spin vintage vinyl and shellac—the dancers are here to move. A ritual of presence, not “content” for Instagram or TikTok. The dancefloor, an ephemeral work of art.

Right On is a late-night club where the famous and the unknown dance side by side. Where party people come not to be seen, but to feel. Where new generations find their footing in the same groove as those who shaped the sound.

If this is the dance you’ve been waiting for, get in touch today to join the Right On family!

Why Right On matters

Right On is for music lovers of all identities: an intercultural, intergenerational event rooted in rhythm. It’s a joyful, safe, and necessary space where Black musical heritage is celebrated in its full global richness—and where queerness is not an afterthought, but a foundation.

Rooted musically in the sound system culture of London’s Jamaican community, Right On draws its influences from reggae revival and big people dances—as well as from salsa and samba clubs, funk and jazz-dance sessions, rockin’ blues parties, soul all-nighters, and swing dances.

But this isn’t a retro theme night or an old-school throwback. It’s a radically inclusive sanctuary where the timeless sounds of vintage Black music from across the diaspora are honoured soulfully and respectfully.
